West Vancouver is the most design-forward market we work in. British Properties estates, Caulfeild waterfront homes and West Coast Modern landmarks by Erickson, Thom and Downs all share one thing: a designer is usually involved. Here is how our crews integrate into a design-led project without slowing it down.
Pre-walkthrough with the design team
Before any paint goes up, we walk every room with the designer or architect, capture exact product codes (Benjamin Moore, Farrow & Ball, Sherwin-Williams Emerald), and confirm sheen and substrate. No on-the-fly substitutions.
Custom millwork demands lacquer-quality finishes
Cabinets, built-ins and custom millwork in British Properties homes get sprayed with urethane-acrylic enamels at our shop, in a controlled, dust-free booth. The factory-grade finish is the only thing that survives a designer walkthrough.
Coordinate with property managers and trades
Most luxury renovations in Caulfeild and Ambleside have 4–6 trades on site at once. We coordinate sequencing with the GC and property manager so painting follows electrical and trim, and precedes flooring.
Spotless daily clean-up
Designers are not patient with dust on imported stone or paint splatter on white oak. We end every day with a full HEPA vacuum and wipe-down — non-negotiable on West Van projects.
