Cut the dry window short
Coquitlam's higher-elevation neighbourhoods stay damp later in the morning and cool down faster in the evening. We start exterior work later and finish earlier — even in July — to make sure paint cures within spec.
Multi-tone exteriors need a colour map
Burke Mountain new builds are famous for 3-tone exterior schemes (body, accent, trim). Before we spray, we paint sample boards onsite, photograph in morning and afternoon light, and confirm with the homeowner.
Breathable systems for mountain moisture
Trapped moisture is the #1 cause of premature exterior failure in Coquitlam. We spec breathable, vapour-permeable acrylic systems so any moisture that gets behind the siding can escape rather than blistering paint outward.
Tie in deck and fence work
Most Coquitlam exteriors come with a cedar deck and fence that need refinishing on the same schedule. Bundling them into one project saves the homeowner a second mobilization fee.
